   Alberta Reports
   The Alberta Reports commenced publication in 1976. The series contains all of the decisions of the Alberta Court of Appeal, plus selected trial court decisions, plus decisions of the Supreme Court of Canada originating in Alberta. The approximate number of volumes per year is 25.

   Starting January 1, 1997 the Alberta Reports database includes unedited cases that would ordinarily be unreported.

   British Columbia Appeal Cases
   The British Columbia Appeal Cases commenced publication in 1991. The series contains all of the decisions of the British Columbia Court of Appeal, decisions of the Yukon Court of Appeal plus decisions of the Supreme Court of Canada originating in British Columbia. The approximate number of volumes per year is 18.

   Starting January 1, 1997 the British Columbia Appeal Cases database includes unedited cases that would ordinarily be unreported. Commencing with volume 335 all headnotes include only the key numbers and breakdown.

   British Columbia Trial Cases
   The British Columbia Trial Cases (BCTC) commenced publication January 1, 1999. The BCTC contains over 1,200 headnoted decisions per year from the B.C. Supreme Court. The series also contains over 1,200 unedited decisions per year from the B.C. Supreme Court. The series is published only in electronic form.

   The Federal Trial Reports commenced publication in 1986. The series contains selected decisions from the Trial Division of the Federal Court of Canada. For decisions that are appealed to the Federal Court of Appeal and decisions that go to the Supreme Court of Canada, our editors prepare Appeal Notes that are indexed under the original case name. The approximate number of volumes per year is 20.

   National Reporter
   The National Reporter commenced publication in 1973. The series contains all of the decisions of the Supreme Court of Canada, all of the decisions of the Federal Court of Appeal, plus selected decisions of the Court Martial Appeal Court, and starting in 1985 selected decisions from the United Kingdom Supreme Court and the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council. The series also includes the disposition of all motions for leave to appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada. The approximate number of volumes per year is 15.

   The decisions of the Supreme Court of Canada are received and published in both English and French. Some of the decisions of the Federal Court of Appeal are received in both languages and are published in both languages. All headnotes and indexing are in English.

   Starting January 1, 1997 the National Reporter database includes unedited cases that would ordinarily be unreported.

   New Brunswick Reports (2d) Supp. – Cancelled – February 2005
   February 2005 -The Official Languages Act, S.N.B. 2002, c. O-0.5, mandates the publication of all Court of Appeal decisions in both English and French. The Act also mandates the publication of decisions of other courts in both English and French where the decision contains a “question of law of interest or importance to the general public”.

   These statutory changes rendered obsolete the N.B.R.(2d) Supp., an all electronic supplement. The service has been discontinued.

   In the future we will publish in print in the N.B.R.(2d) the translations required by the legislation. We will also publish in print in the N.B.R.(2d) untranslated cases that we deem useful to lawyers.

   The N.B.R.(2d) Supp. is an all electronic publication that commenced in 1996 as a result of a space limitation in the printed version of the N.B.R.(2d). This new series includes mainly untranslated trial court decisions that merit publication but cannot be published in print due to the space limitation.

   The N.B.R.(2d) Supp. is available on the Internet. The headnotes are in the language of the decision. The headnotes include our key numbers plus language cross references so that the cases can be searched in English or French.

   Starting January 1, 1997 our Internet service include unedited cases that would ordinarily be unreported.

   All of the electronic products for the N.B.R.(2d) include the cases published in the N.B.R.(2d) Supp.

   All N.B.R.(2d) Supp. cases are indexed in the N.B.R.(2d) cases reported print indexes.
